The Civilian Board of Contract Appeals was established effective January 6, 2007.  Before that date, contract disputes involving civilian executive agencies were heard and decided by boards of contract appeals of the General Services Administration and the Departments of Agriculture, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, Transportation, and Veterans Affairs.

             The boards of contract appeals of the Departments of Energy, Interior, and Transportation did not maintain websites.  The Department of Veterans Affairs no longer maintains a website of its board’s decisions. Links to the websites of the boards of contract appeals of the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the General Services Administration appear below.  By clicking on any of these links, one can find decisions of the appropriate predecessor board.
